For this project, we were required to research the lives of two designers along with some world context, and create a timeline in an accordion layout. My entire work ended up being twenty pages total. I was the one who decided to make the accordion vertical, rather than horizontal. I also made the decision to mix the two designers' information on the left, while keeping the historical context separate to the right. However, Awazu tends towards the far left, while Lionni tends more towards the center.
Displayed above are some individual pages in detail. Though simple in theory, I learned the importance of large images, and how to design around those. I admire Leo Lionni and Kiyoshi Awazu, and I wanted to showcase their work appropriately.
